Since its formation with scientists
from plant, animal, fisheries, medical, microbial,
pharmaceutical and other biotechnological components in 2003,
Bangladesh Association for
Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (BABGE) has now
160 Life Members and 170 General Members and publishing
“Molecular Biology & Biotechnology
Journal (MBBJ)”.
The First International Conference
of BABGE will be held on 7-8 June 2008 (Saturday &
Sunday) at Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC),
Dhaka. We are expecting around
1000 participants from Universities, Research
Institutes, Private Sectors, NGOs, Policy Planners, Medical and
Industrial Sectors, Extension Specialists, Biotech Journalists,
Progressive Farmers, Students, biotech providers/promoters and
other biotech stakeholders. Apart from our local scientists, we
are expecting Guest Scientists from Pakistan, India, Malaysia,
Philippines, USA, Australia, Japan, Italy and other countries.
The deadline for ABSTRACT (≈ 200
words with full address of all authors including emails and
telephone contacts) submission and REGISTRATION (name,
designation, address, email) is 31 May 2008. Please visit
